The Xizang Art Museum stands in Chengguan District of Lhasa. During the renovation, the design team preserved as much of the former cement plant’s original architectural fabric as possible while reorganizing the layout to accommodate the diverse functions of a large modern museum. At the same time, the design integrates regional elements of Xizang’s culture. The site’s industrial legacy now lives on within this renewed artistic space.
