Recently, the yak racing event of the 2025 Dama Festival was held in Gyangze County, Xigaze, Xizang. This event, which showcased a yak racing competition, drew 30 yaks from diverse towns and villages within Gyangze County to compete together.

The Dama Festival is one of the most significant traditional celebrations in Gyangze. Among its various events, yak racing holds a special place in the hearts of the community.
