LHASA, Nov. 1 (Xinhua) -- Annual renovation of the Potala Palace begins in Lhasa, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region.
The 1,300-year-old Potala Palace is a landmark of Lhasa. The palace was included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1994.
