After five years of construction, the new Tibet Museum was officially opened to the public recently.

The new museum is close to the Potala Palace and Norbulingka, both of which are world cultural heritages.

In October 2017, the reconstruction and expansion project was launched, and the building follows the traditional Tibetan architecture style.

It is understood that the new Tibet Museum has a total of 520,000 collections with rich varieties and distinctive features.
