The Jokhang Temple in Lhasa City of Tibet Autonomous Region, started its annual whitewash on October 26. Hundreds of monks and believers from all over Tibet were under the command of the staff to paint the exterior walls and window frames of the Jokhang Temple. For hundreds of years, Tibetan ancient buildings have been maintained by this traditional way.
