LHASA, July 27 (Kangba TV) -- Tubo Civilization Exhibition, an activity of 2017 Tibet Qonggyai Tubo Cultural Tourism Festival, kicked off in the Mass Art Center of Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR), July 25.
The exhibition will last until July 29.
The exhibition, themed “Ancient Capital of Tubo and Beautiful Qonggyai”, displayed Qonggyai’s cultural relics, ICH (intangible cultural heritage) songs and dances, ethnic handicrafts, agricultural and husbandry products, and hand-made skills.

Moreover, the event also exhibited the award-winning works of TAR’s Calligraphy Association.
To present the charming traditional Tubo hand-made culture, the exhibition integrated Thangka art with Tibetan calligraphy, thus to build local cultural brand.

Qonggyai County is located in the south of TAR, the river valley of the middle reaches of the Yarlung Zangbo River.
As an important birthplace of Tibetan culture, Qonggyai is hailed as the “root of Tibetan ethnic group and the origin of Tibetan culture”.
