Guinan County, Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai Province is hailed as the hometown of Tibetan embroidery.

Guinan Tibetan embroidery, also known as Guinan needlework, is an intangible cultural heritage at provincial level.

As a characteristic folk handicraft, Tibetan embroidery has become a tourist product of Qinghai, and been sold to the U.S., India, Nepal, etc., becoming popular among tourists.
