In 2012, focusing on inheriting and developing Jiaxie dance, Gesar story telling, original pastoral songs, etc., Saga County carried out a series of characteristic art projects.  

Farmers and herdsmen have become culture performers, maintaining a win-win situation of cultural prosperity and poverty alleviation.  

Jiaxie is a group singing and dancing performance which has been passed on from generation to generation of Dengger Township, Saga County, Shigatse, Tibet.  

In 2008, Jiaxie was included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
