
CHENGDU, June 12 (Kangba TV) -- The 6th International Festival of the Intangible Cultural Heritage kicked off in Chengdu, Sichuan Province on June 10.
The Belt and Road National Handicraft Exhibition marked one of the highlights of the festival.

Photo shows the master of bark painting from Uganda, who was invited by the Department of Culture of Sichuan Province.
On the festival, he presented on-site bark painting, which has been passed on from generation to generation and is now fading away.
It is worth noting that Uganda is the world’s only country which boasts the bark panting skill, the most special handicraft of its own.



Different from other countries along the Belt and Road routes, Thailand displays its unique royal desserts and clothes.
According to the work staff of the Thai exhibition hall, it is the first down-to-earth exhibition for the exquisite royal clothes and headwear.

The making skill of Nepalese Thangka is complicated and delicate, and strict in painting techniques, with recherché colors implying different meanings.
The Nepalese Thangka painter introduced his works enthusiastically.
The exhibition and spot sale of handicraft projects of the countries along the Belt and Road routes presented the international craftsmanship, and boosted the communication and cultural trade of international handicraft as well.
