On the evening of November 1, the first batch of 589 teachers and students from the quake-hit area of Baqen County arrived at Lhasa Nagqu Wanquan Middle School. Due to the earthquake, primary schools in Maru Township and Gangqie Township of Baqen County cannot yet resume classes on site. Nagqu City has organized off-site classes for the affected teachers and students, with an estimated 1,584 people to be transferred in batches.
