From September 13 to 15, Tashilhunpo Monastery in Xigaze City, SW China's Xizang Autonomous Region, held a Cham dance ritual, praying for peace, prosperity and favorable weather. "Cham" is a religious dance performed by Buddhist monks. Originally known as the "Vajra Dance," it is a ritual dance of Tibetan Buddhism and one of the most representative forms of Tibetan Buddhist art.
