The road south along the Yarlung Zangbo River carries a faint scent of wool as it winds into Kyimxi township, Gonggar county, southwest China's Xizang Autonomous Region. There, a newly opened inheritance center for Kyimxi pulu, a Tibetan woolen fabric, displays undyed raw wool and traditional looms alongside creative cultural products such as scarves and bags. A zone designated for livestreaming marketing has expanded sales channels for pulu products.
