Born in 1988, Tenzin Geshe is the fourteenth successor of the Mandrung Manor Tibetan incense.
He is a young entrepreneur star of Lhasa, and deputy director of Nyemo Tibetan Incense Association.
"Tibetan incense is a representative of Tibetan culture, and those made with traditional techniques are the most authentic," said Tenzin Geshe.
"The Tibetan incense experience hall makes people know more about the ingredients and making process of Tibetan incense, and helps inherit and promote the time-honored Nyemo Tibetan incense," added he.
After graduating from Northwest Minzu University in 2012, Tenzin Geshe came back to his hometown and launched his venture.
In 2014, he established a company focusing on Tibetan incense business.
In 2015, Ton Mandrung Tibetan incense project won the third prize in Lhasa’s first youth innovation and entrepreneurship competition.
"Besides Tibetan incense, we will also engage in traditional cultural projects regarding Tibetan paper, Tibetan calligraphy, etc., which help promote Tibet’s traditional culture and provide jobs for villagers of Tonba Village," said Tenzin Geshe.

As the fourteenth successor of Mandrung Manor, an old and famous family of Tibetan medicine, Tenzin Geshe regards the curling smokes of Tibetan incense as an integral part of his life.
After graduating from university, he returned to Mandrung Manor, Tonba Village, Nyemo County, inheriting the fragrance of ancestors.

Tenzin Geshe mixes the grinded cypress powder with the ingredients made from dozens of kinds of Tibetan medicine.
A chamber of the manor displays the tools and ingredients of Tibetan incense making of his ancestors.
"These are passed down from my family. They recorded the history and culture of Tibetan incense, and should be well preserved," said Tenzin.
"As the inheritor of Nyemo Tibetan incense, I am obliged to explore the essence of traditional culture in Tibetan incense, and lead the co-workers to make innovations. Next, we will develop some derivative products and make efforts in standard production, thus to help more rural youths start up business and make a fortune, and contribute to the agricultural and rural economic development and poverty alleviation," said Tenzin Geshe.
