Nyidron,a Tibetan photographer, established Hima Alaya Art Studio in Lhasa at an age of 21. Acollection of photos on Tibetan people shot by her brought about extensive attention and heated discussion the Internet.
Nyidron was born in a well-off family in September 1994 in Lhasa. Her parents are open-minded, so Nyidron has been independent with ambitions since little.
She sold her handmade bowknots to her classmates when she was 13. Then, she ran a Taobao shop at 16 all on her own, including photo taking, replenishing the stock and selling.
She went the University of the Arts London at 18 in United Kingdom (UK) to learn photography and modeling, and began to live by herself.
Nyidron never stops pursuing her photography dream. She used to work part-time in fabric stores and media companies in the U.K. Until then she realized the importance of theory and practice.

During her stay in the UK, she usually spent a few days and nights without sleep consummating the photos via retouching, editing, etc. Now, she is quite proud of her effort and dedication then.
Nyidron graduated from University of the Arts London (a world first-class university inarts) in 2015 with honors.
She turned down the offer in the UK, returned to Lhasa, Tibet Autonomous Region and set up Hima Alaya Art Studio on October 1, 2015.
Common Tibetan people under her lens look like stunning superstars. Now, Nyidron introspects more and wonders how to conveyTibetan traditional culture in her works.
She wants to show the real Tibetan people and their life.

Nyidron volunteered to teach kids in Yushu, Qinghai Province in April, 2016. This experience makes her contemplate and have new understandings and ideas on traditional Tibetan culture.
Nyidron said, “I want to do something meaningful, something about Tibet. I hope more people will know Tibet and I wish I could take a photo for any Tibetans as long as they are willing to have one.”
