Feb.28,2017--Sun Siku and Droma is a couple, one of the many Han-Tibetan families in Gang Dui village in South Tibet. Yisi Droga , Droma's younger sister, also married with a Han guy.

"We have been married for 13 years, and now we have a son and a daughter," Said Droma with bright smiles on her face.

Sun Siku comes from Shandong province and met his Tibetan wife ten years ago. "we lived in Tibet for a year after we were married, and then lived in Beijing for 6 or 7 years.We finally moved back to settle down in Gang Dui village, Droma's hometown," Sun Siku said.

“Droma is a devout believer of Tibetan Buddhism. After marriage, I followed my wife to be a believer of Tibetan Buddhism,” Sun Siku said.

"During the Tibetan New Year, my family and Droma's friends hold joyous gatherings. We drink, sing, dance and give children red envelopes. During the Chinese Lunar New Year, I take my wife and children back to Shandong. We paste up Spring Festival couplets, light firecrackers, play cards, and eat family reunion dinner."

There are 21 Han-Tibetan marriages in Gang Dui village, which has a total of 296 households and 1,349 people.
