Huo Guihe is 46 years old. He is the director of passenger transfer department of Xi’ning Railway Station of Qinghai-Tibet Railway Company. He was once the trainee, coordinator, yardmaster, shunting director and stationmaster. People call him “the professional by training”. He was awarded as the national model worker, national labor medal and Qinghai model worker.
During the Spring Festival travel, Xi’ning Railway Station arranged 8 extra trains. The periods of breaks, shifting of duty and noon break have become busy. To guarantee the punctuality of trains, Huo Guihe and his colleagues raced against time every day, thus to make sure that passengers could arrive home on time.
