Throwing stonesto the ox horn is a traditional Tibetan sport, in whicheach village sends ten representatives to compete in three rounds. Each competitor can throw stones for three times.
Once the competitors hit the target with the stones, it is an auspicious sign, meaning all going well and a bumper harvest in the coming year.

Yajia is a simple traditional sport popular in Tibet’s agricultural and pastoral areas. Two competitors put a rope around their necks then lie on the ground and pull in the opposite direction. The one who can drag the other away is the winner.

Xiangjian (whistling arrow)originated from Tibet’s Kongpo area and is popular there. In recent years, with the support of related departments, Kongpo Xiangjian has become a sport participated by the masses.
