In the opening ceremony, cruise parades, the ceremony of burning aromatic plants, and singing and dancing performances display the flourishing Aba culture. 

A tourist said, “The Zhachong festival is very good. I have a good time here. Local scenery is beautiful and I love it.” 

A local resident said, “Either the design of the stage or the performances are fabulous with ethnic features. I am so satisfied with the festival.” 

According to Zhang Xiong, head of the publicity department of Aba County committee of CPC, “We hope to promote tourism resources in Aba County as well as attract attention and support from society via this traditional festival.” 

During the three-day festival, a series of activities such as a trade exchange fair, a promotion meeting on Aba County’s tourism, a photography exhibition, a Tibetan calligraphy exchange exhibition, savoring Tibetan gourmet, etc. will be held in the meantime.
