The 16th Nyingchi Peach Blossom Travel Culture Festival will kick off in Gala Village, Nyingchi’s Bayi District on March 29. 

Nyingchi’s peach blossom season lasts from March 15 to April 30 and local peach blossoms are mainly distributed along the National Highway 318, Nyangchu scenery zone of Nyingchi-Lhasa Highway, and Nyingchi Airport-Bayi Township way.

Accommodation: Peach blossom festival is the peak tourist season for Nyingchi. For tourists heading there, you should book hotels in advance.  

Travel: If you want to drive to the destination, spare some time in case of traffic jam. 

Medicine: Take some medicines for cold, enterogastritis, sunstroke, carsickness, etc. Mosquito repellent water is also necessary. 

Safety: It's better to travel with companions, especially at night. A single female or a child should bring some defense tools. 

Equipment: Cameras are indispensable and other supplies, like sunscreen should also be taken in terms of the specific circumstances of the destination.
