XI'AN, Nov.2 (Kangba TV) -- Tibet Airlines’ flight TV6017 from Xi’an landed on Nagri’s Kunsha Airport on October 29, marking the official operation of the Xi’an-Ngari airline.
The Xi’an-Ngari airline is the first airline connecting an airline hub to Ngari, filling the air transport gap between Ngari and Shaanxi Province.
After getting off the plane, Ms Hu, a tourist to Ngari for the first time, said that, “I thought Ngari was far away before, firstly a flight to Lhasa, then over 1,000 kilometers’ ride. With the Xi'an-Ngari airline, we now can make it in a half day.”
This airline, with a daily round-trip flight, is served by Airbus A319. It takes off at 06:00 in Xi’an, stops in Lhasa and arrives at Ngari at 12:30. The return flight departs at 13:10 in Ngari, stops in Lhasa and arrives at Xi’an at 21:45.
The operation of this airline can promote the economic, trade and cultural exchange of Ngari and the inland areas, which is of great significance for Ngari’s poverty alleviation.
