Passenger flights between Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou resumed

JIUZHAIGOU, Aug. 24 (Kangba TV) -- It is learned from Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport that three passenger flights between Chengdu and Jiuzhaigou have been resumed on every Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting from August 23.
The first batch of commercial flights resumed after Jiuzhaigou earthquake are served by Sichuan Airlines. Affected by the “Aug.8” Jiuzhaigou earthquake, Jiuzhai Huanglong Airport has imposed air traffic control from August 9. Almost all commercial flights were suspended except the relief ones.
According to a related official in the airport, at present, the airport’s facilities are in good conditions to guarantee normal take-offs and landings.
Jiuzhaigou Scenic Spot has not been reopened yet. Passenger flights will be added in line with the passenger flow volume.
Tickets of the resumed flights are available on the official website of Sichuan Airlines. Air tickets before September 8 can be booked at sixty percent off discount at the most.
