Lhasa to impose traffic control on August 21 for Shoton Festival

LHASA, Aug. 15 (Kangba TV) -- It is learned from Lhasa traffic police department on August 14 that, due to the great many people and vehicles during the opening ceremony of Shoton Festival, Lhasa will impose traffic control in certain areas and roads on August 21. 

Traffic control areas are mainly in the nearby places of Drepung Monastery and Sera Monastery. Vehicles on duty orwith passes are allowed to pass normally. 

The traffic control starts from 0:00, August 21 and lasts until the end of the opening ceremony. During the traffic control, drivers should drive in accordance with the road signs and traffic officers’ directions and park the vehicles in the designated places.
