28 tourist signs put up in Lhasa

According to the Lhasa Municipal Tourism Bureau, there will be 28 tourism signs put up in Lhasa, the capital city of southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, totaling 3 million Yuan in order to offer tourism resources, tourist routes and scenic spots to the tourists. This project will be designed and set up by Yinuo Advertising & Media Co. , Ltd. Until now, 17 light boxes of tourist map and 11 tourism signs have already been used, which receive a favorable response.

The light box of tourist map, one part of tourism signage system in Lhasa, is made by the carbonizing anticorrosive wood so as to prolong the life. Besides, it enjoys the exquisite and artistic design that is characteristic of Tibetan culture.

In addition to the beautiful appearance, it is also quiet useful and convenient for the tourists to know more about the tourism information. Firstly, on the right side of the light box, it shows the tourist map, routes and traffic information. On the other side, there are scrolling information of scenic spots and Tibetan culture. Secondly, all the information on the light box is written in three languages-Tibetan, Chinese and English, which is pretty useful for the tourists from home and abroad.

In the future, tourism signs and introduction signs on some scenic spots such as Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery and Ganden Monastery will be put up. It not only is convenient the tourists but also exhibits Tibetan unique culture and tourist recourses.
