The 7th International Trade Tourism Culture Festival and the "Ongkor Festival" took place at Yadong County of Shigatse, southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region, to celebrate local harvest. Ongkor Festival means attaching importance of agricultural development in Tibetan language. The festival also is an expansion of the traditional Ongkor Festival, and inheritance of the unique culture of Yadong. Over the years, the success of Yadong Ongkor Festival has played an important role in promoting the popularity and bringing up the exchange of materials in the surrounding areas.

Yadong is located in the south foot of Himalayas, and isknown forits superior natural conditions and traditional culture. In recent years, Yadong government has implemented the central government's developing strategy for southwest China’s Tibet Autonomous Region.
