As the largest lake of Cona County in Shannan City, Tibet Autonomous Region, Nagru Yutso is 20km north from the county downtown, covering an area of 58.33 square kilometers. 

In winter, Nagru Yutso freezes, with the ice thickness over ten centimeters. The ice melts from April as it gets warm. 

Tourists can get to the small island in the middle of the lake. On the island there is a cave, which can house three to four persons. 

From a distance, it is like a blue gemstone inset on the mountains with azure sky and white clouds reflected in the water.
