Xueshanliang Tunnel, located in Songpan County, Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Prefecture, began its construction on September 16, 2012 and is expected to open to traffic in late October, 2017.   

Once it operates, visitors can save 30 minutes when travelling to Huanglong Scenic Area via the tunnel instead of climbing over the 4,017m tall mountain. 

At present, the scenic area’s facilities are in good condition with sufficient reception capacity.  

Leaves in Huanglong are turning yellow. It is the best time to visit Huanglong Scenic Area now. 

Because of the rain, Huanglong Scenic Area ushered the biggest wet season in the last five years, which makes the calcium pool more beautiful in the sun.
