Located in the bordering areas of Sichuan’s Aba County and Qinghai’s Jigzhi and Padma counties, Sacred Lianbao Yeze Mountain, a branch of Bayenkala Mountains in the southeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, is a national geological park, covering an area of 800 square kilometers. 

Lianbao Yeze means jade peak of dignity. The scenic spot consists of four lakes, namely Zhaga’er Lake, Drumo Lake, Luoyun Lake and Longga Lake. The four lakes lie in the radial fan shape at an average altitude of 3,500m. 

Altitudes of the scenic spot range from 3,800m to 5,369m with their peaks all over 4,000m above sea level. 

As a national geological park, Sacred Lianbao Yeze Mountain Scenic Spot incorporates profound Gesar culture into local lakes, singular and extraordinary mountains and stones.  

With azure sky, pure clouds, boundless flowers, gorgeous plateau lakes, stones of various shapes, melodious pastoral songs, mysterious and appealing legends and unsophisticated customs, Sacred Lianbao Yeze Scenic Spot can offer you an experience beyond your imagination. 

Local government has shifted the development direction to tourism sector to increase people’s incomes and related infrastructure is being built and perfected. It is expected that Sacred Lianbao Yeze Mountain Scenic Spot will become another popular tourist destination besides Jiuzhaigou.
