DAOCHENG, July 6 (Kangba TV) -- On the mountain of Daocheng County, Garze Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, a giant lotus, which is formed by spruces, showed on the slope, forming a magnificent green landscape, July 3.
The vivid lotus decorated the mountain and attracted tourists.
Overlooking from a distance, tourists can see an amazing, fascinating and magnificent ecological forest landscape formed by spruces.
The unique beautiful scenery attracted lots of tourists to take photos.
This year, Daocheng County implemented the “green the prefecture on a large scale and take actions in Daocheng” project.
It carried out forestry key projects, such as “plant trees on the mountain, grow flowers along the roads and transform rivers into lakes”, and integrated them with local cultures.
It reasonably allocated the areas of flowers and grass, and designed the landscapes by means of land art.
Besides, it also organized the impoverished households to participate in the greening construction, and planted over 32,000 spruces, forming a lotus-shape ecological forest landscape, which covers 700 mu (one mu equals to 0.067 hectare).
The vivid landscape reflected the integration of culture and ecology.
It is learned that Daocheng County is now implementing the flower growing project, aiming to plant flowers along the road from Yading Airport to Shangri-la Township and build the 100 kilometer landscape avenue.
The wetland parks in the downtown are also under construction.
Now, Daocheng is improving the ecology and environment via carrying out the ecological civilization strategy, thus to build the charming ecological county and promote region-based tourism.
