The views of Lulang Township, Nyingchi City, Tibet Autonomous Region (TAR) in early summer is fabulous. Lulang means “dragon king’s valley” in Tibetan. Sitting beside No.318 national highway, Lulang Township, designed to be an international tourism town with “Tibetan culture, natural ecology, holiness, peace, modern and fashion”, is built by Guangdong Province and TAR.

It takes six years to construct the town with an investment of about 3.8 billion yuan from People’s Government of Guangdong Province and several enterprises.

The town is a key part of Guangdong’s aid-Tibet and poverty alleviation via tourism project as well as TAR’s tourism development project.
