Qilian County of Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, which is named after Mt. Qilian, is at an average altitude of 3,169m. In every March, Qilian Countyis a world of snow while spring is very much in the air in other regions and cities throughout the country. 

According to Qinghai Meteorological Observatory, in the incoming days, light snow or sleet will fall in Qilian Mountain areas, Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Yushu Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, etc. with a 4℃ to 6℃ drop in temperature.
