LHASA, Aug.24 (Kangba TV) -- A gourmet festival themed “Happy Shoton Carnival: Yoghourt, Beer,Gourmet and Music Week” kicked off on August 22 in the outdoor venue of Lhasa Municipal Culture and Sports Center. 

Foodies are savoring food while walking. 

Happy Shoton Carnival is a must visit for foodies. Fragrant and tasty delicacies from Taiwan, Tianjin, Shaanxi are all available there. Long queues have been lined up in front of each booth. Local people and citizens are savoring food while walking, which is quite enjoyable. 

Besides the gourmet, excellent ethnic bands, ethnic song and dance teams and Tibetan opera teams are invited to perform on site. Yogurt drinking competition, beer drinking competition, cooking competition and Tibetan costume show will be held. The festival’s happy atmosphere draw a lot of tourists.

It is learned that the seven-day gourmet festival ends in August 28. Foodie cannot miss it!
