The scenery in Tibetan villages in Gansu’s Tewo is beautiful and pleasant. Local villagers and tourists from home and abroad are eating, playing on the grassland and enjoying Langshan Festival.

Tewo County, located in Gannan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Gansu Province is on the eastern edge of Qinghai-Tibetan Plateau.

Tewo has the best preserved primeval forest in Gansu and Sichuan areas which is important for water conservation in the upper reaches of the Yangtze River as well as ecological protection in the eastern part of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.
