Denggun is a distinctive folk sport on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, which refers to an activity that generally two people sit on the grassland and put their soles against each other’s with hands holding a stick. The one who pulls the other one off the ground is the winner.  

This sport is an effective way to exercise waist strength.
