Shangri-La tourism promotion meeting 

SHANGRI-LA, July 20 (Kangba TV) -- Direct flights between Shangri-La, the mysterious and appealing paradise on earth and Changsha, the capital city of Hunan Province have been launched, with which Shangri-La is accessible from Changsha in three hours. 

This air route is served by Kunming Airlines on every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. 

With a forest coverage rate of 76 percent, Shangri-La is cool in summer with an average temperature of 15 degrees centigrade, which makes it a perfect summer resort and a natural air anion bar. 

As of now, Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture has developed eco, adventure, scientific expedition, pilgrimage and relaxation tours. The operation of this airline can shorten the travel time between the two places, thus bring more Changsha people to Diqing and vice versa. 

Diqing Shangri-La Airport has 13 air routes, including Shangri-La-Changsha, Shangri-La-Beijing, Shangri-La-Shanghai, Shangri-La-Hangzhou, etc.  

According to an official in tourism department that tourists with Changsha- Shangri-La air tickets can enjoy 20 percent off tickets to all scenic spots in Diqing.
