Exhibition of elaborate Thangka paintings of Qinghai kicks off in Beijing

BEIJING, Jan. 19 (Kangba TV) -- Co-hosted by the Publicity Department and Department of Culture, Press and Publication of Qinghai Province and the National Art Museum of China (NAMOC), "Painting the Snowland & Dreaming with Ingenuity" – Exhibition of Elaborate Thangka Paintings of Qinghai kicked off in Beijing, Jan. 17.

As a cultural project of Qinghai Province, which is sponsored by the NAMOC, the exhibition aims to promote and inherit excellent traditional Chinese culture, enhance ethnic cultural confidence and publicize the craftsmanship spirit.

"The exhibition shows the support to Qinghai's cultural cause and the cultural construction of the new era. Via the exhibition, we can have an insight into the yearning and pursuit of the Thangka artists who participated in this event, especially their artistic dreams," said Mr. Wu.
