Tibet holds second Tsampa Toursim and Culture Festival

In late September, Tibet has harvested its high-altitude crops, highland barley, coming to the end of the harvest season. And the second Tsampa Tourism and Culture Festival was held in the Dulong Deqen District of Lhasa, the region's capital city, on September 28.

Feast your eyes on Tibetan treats

"Tsampa" is eaten at breakfast and consists of barley or wheat flour, and sugar, which is then mixed with a little milk tea and pressed with fingers into small dry biscuits.
