Sponsored by Beijing Municipal People's Government together with Tibet Autonomous Regional People's Government, a Tibetan cultural relics exhibition was displayed in Beijing on Feb. 27 and will last till Jul. 22 this year.

A total of 216 cultural relics collected from 21 cultural relics protection units in Beijing, Tibet, Hebei, Chongqing, and Qinghai are on display at the Capital Museum. What’s more, over 185 relics are provided from Tibet.

With the highlight of displaying Tibetan culture, the exhibition aims to better introduce Tibetan culture and its contribution to the Chinese Nation. As a member of the big family of the Chinese nation, the Tibetan people have created and developed their brilliant and distinctive culture during a long history. Tibetan culture has all along been a dazzling pearl in the treasure-house of Chinese culture as well as that of the world as a whole.
