Losang Yeshe, 21, learned Tibetan cuisine at several restaurants in Lhasa and Xigaze in southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region after graduating from college. In March, with the assistance of a local entrepreneurship support program, Losang opened a Dakpa Ceramics-themed Tibetan restaurant in his hometown Maizhokunggar County. The restaurant serves dishes on tableware made of Dakpa Ceramics, which was listed as a regional intangible cultural heritage in 2006. The restaurant now earns about 20,000 yuan (about 2,986 U.S. dollars) per month.
