Located to the south of the Tsaidam Basin and praised as the “treasure bowl” of China, Qarhan Salt Lake is China’s largest soluble potassium and magnesium salt deposit, with its reserves of sodium, magnesium, potassium and lithium ranking first in China.

With a total area of 5,856 square kilometers, Qarhan Salt Lake boasts dozens of salt pans. The fascinating emerald green water attracts both tourists and UAV operators.
