Tenzin Geshe makes Tibetan incense according to the making skill of the Mandrung family.

Tenzin Geshe introduces the tool of the Mandrung family, which has a history of more than 500 years.

Born in 1988, Tenzin Geshe is the fourteenth successor of the Mandrung Manor Tibetan incense.

He is a young entrepreneur star of Lhasa, and deputy director of Nyemo Tibetan Incense Association.

"Tibetan incense is a representative of Tibetan culture, and those made with traditional techniques are the most authentic," said Tenzin Geshe.

"The Tibetan incense experience hall makes people know more about the ingredients and making process of Tibetan incense, and helps inherit and promote the time-honored Nyemo Tibetan incense," added he.

After graduating from Northwest Minzu University in 2012, Tenzin Geshe came back to his hometown and launched his venture.

In 2014, he established a company focusing on Tibetan incense business.

In 2015, Ton Mandrung Tibetan incense project won the third prize in Lhasa’s first youth innovation and entrepreneurship competition.

"Besides Tibetan incense, we will also engage in traditional cultural projects regarding Tibetan paper, Tibetan calligraphy, etc., which help promote Tibet’s traditional culture and provide jobs for villagers of Tonba Village," said Tenzin Geshe.
