At night, Qamdo City in the eastern part of the Xizang Autonomous Region, lights shimmer across the plateau, showcasing the unique charm of this highland city.
The city is nested within the western section of the Hengduan Mountains, and in the middle and upper reaches of the Jinsha River, Lancang River, and Nu River. It functions as a transportation hub connecting Xizang, Sichuan, Yunnan, and Qinghai provinces.
