Horse racing festival held in Tibet’s Ngari

A grand horse racing event kicked off recently in Sengge Zangbo town, which is named after Sengge Zangbo, a famous river in Ngari, southwest China's Tibet autonomous region, attracting a total of 150 nomads to take part in the competition and more than 20 thousand visitors to watch the event. The event involves racing, archery and feats of strength, along with much singing, dancing, and trading of equestrian paraphernalia and local crafts and products.
